Aussie Slang Interpreted...

The staple diet of any good lad - also good
for starting your own worm farm.

As an Aussie, but not quite defined as a 'fair dinkum', I find watching "Priscilla", "Wog Boy", Croc Dundee" and top notch shows like "Neighbours" and "Home And Away" difficult sometimes due to the idiosyncrasies in the language, so to help fellow linguistic sufferers, thought I might start a weekly translation of the butchered Queen's English...
This week is the term "American Cheese"; a noun to describe processed foods resembling (and sometimes not!) cheese, normally coloured orange.
Yum!!! Enjoy!
